Escaping reality for an hour each day. The thing about hobbies, whether they be the gym, football or even a virtual hobby are you’re all participating out of choice. You’re all in the room because that particular activity either uplifts your mood, calms your stress or even settles your nerves. That activity fills you with positive vibes, sometimes even gets you through the toughest of times. .
I was chilling with Tori and in my own head I was planning the next day. Normally consisting of squeezing the gym in for a couple of hours each day. Now, the question which was on repeat in my mind, venting silently I ask myself “why do people have to squeeze in the things they love doing and reflectively wiping most of their day out with the 9-5 lifestyle, just to sleep and repeat again?!”. .
Why has this become the social norm? Surely people are conscious of this but why do they just admit defeat and carry on in the process? What a weird set-up. .
If you want something you’ve never had, you’ve got to do something you’ve never done. Try that other exercise, book that flight, invest in that business or even ask for that persons number you have your eye on. . .
Why don’t you go ahead and try something new? You will start to see some crazy personal progression physically, mentally and I put my life on it you’ll see some positive adjustments to your personality in the process.
